AMPM Cafe @ USJ 21

An overview of the interior from where I sat @ AMPM Cafe
I've been wanting to look for an alternative cafe nearby to chill or do work because at times I am just too lazy to drive all the way to PJ. I remembered passing by to some cafes around USJ 21 once, and since I was slightly free last Saturday, I thought why not give them a try.

Spotted AMPM Cafe during my search and did a quick check on the Internet to find that this cafe is quite popular among coffee goers - seeing that they've been featured in quite a few websites. I always lookout for the "Top 10" listing that is featured on the Internet/magazine before making my decision, so thanks to those websites I made my decision to check it out.

My deduction: Not too bad, just that the ground floor is kinda warm when there are more people around. Otherwise not a bad place to do work. WIFI is available for free and the connection is not too bad, music choice is alright, Hot Mocha is good.

I have this weird habit of camping at the corner, but there is only 1 plug point available so it's more like on a first-come-first-serve basis, see if you're lucky. Second level seems quite cozy, the room temperature is cooler comparing to the ground floor. I might try to camp upstairs next time :D

Penang Trip

There was a long weekend last week lasting from Friday (Labour's Day) till Monday (replacement public holiday for Vesak Day which fell on a Sunday), and I was invited by my Penang friend for a short getaway. Ignored the fact that it's gonna be a full of tourist, I agreed and went along with the plan.

Wrong decision. It took us approximately 6.5 hours to get there! Departed at 12 mid night sharp and only to reach Sg Nibong bus station at around 6.30am, which is a bloody long journey. Worst still, I thought taking the night bus would be the best decision ever as we can save some travel time plus start our Penang tour as soon as we arrive. Wrong again. Not only it was a long journey, I didn't even get to sleep at all due to the constrained space and loud snoring from the other passengers. Sometimes I just feel jealous that they are able to knock out so easily.

(Left) A shot taken from Chew Jetty (Center) The view on top of me @ The Mugshot Cafe (Right) Bagel for lunch!
View from the Penang Hill
Done ranting. Penang is quite lovely overall, we started our tour by cycling around George Town. RM8 for a bike per day with bicycle lock provided, you are free to cycle wherever you go, which is quite nice as you get to explore more places, alley ways and lanes where all the murals are hidden.

Beach & Sunset view via Hard Rock Hotel @ Batu Ferringhi

Besides travelling around George Town and the Penang Hill, we also went took a detour to Batu Ferringhi for the beach and sunset - which I took a lot more photos then. It was a chillaxing 2 hours over there for us, we took some photos, chat a bit, people watch while enjoying the cooling sea breeze.

Mother-son moment on a guided horse

Wish I get to experience this someday
Well, Penang has nothing much to do since the traffic was bad practically at any hour of the day. Met up with some of my friends who are staying/working there for some catch-up-over-coffee-session. And also visited the Chinese Medical Hall for some traditional treatment for my back which unexpectedly cost me a bomb!! But then again, let's see if the Chinese Medicine helps. If it doesn't, at least I know I can strike this option off my list, no harm giving it a try anyways.

One of the shot I love most, but it can be better - in terms of the composition and exposure level. Perhaps I should start picking up my camera again?

Motivation & Determination Required

I've not been discipline and I really need the motivation & determination in order to continue doing this. Since I don't exercise, I am hoping this will at least helps me to build my stamina while staying a healthy lifestyle, and at the same time, eliminate some extra fats in my body :D

Morning Lake View

Morning lake view behind Sime Darby Medical Centre

I just noticed that I didn't blog at all last month, been swamped with work and projects since last year. Unsure if this is a good thing or not but basically time passes so fast with work and stress piling up like a mini hill. In just a blink of eyes, we are now in Q2 of the year. It's april already!!

Anyway, since my gym membership ends in March 2015, and clearly I don't have the time to go for it, so it would be a waste of money if I extend my membership. Made a decision to kill the membership and resolved with jogging around the lake nearby.

Shot above was taken in one of the morning I went for a jog. Nice shot eh?

4th Day of CNY

The 4th day of Chinese New Year, as usual we have nothing much to do. Unlike other families, we don't go do house visiting and don't have other people over visiting, so mom decided to go to my grandma's place. As for me and my sister, we are allow to have our own plan.

After dropping my mom at grandma's, I went to the mall nearby and camp myself in Starbucks. This is like my second drink today (drink in pic) and my 2nd visit this week. Decided to challenge Caffè Americano but cheated in the end with some syrups, just can't take the bitterness. Healthy much?

Anyway, purpose of camping here is to do work, but instead of working, I've been chatting with friends, checking Facebook, reading a book which I borrowed almost a year ago, and people watch in the cafe.

Chose a quiet corner for all the activities listed above, which not quite comfortable as the air cond is not strong enough. Speaking of which, I don't think the free wifi is working too, scanned for the connection a few times but to no avail, maybe the modem is broken. Meh!

Okay, enough updating. I think I should really continue slacking my weekend. Next week gonna need to start combating all the workloads and crazy clients again :P

Oh by the way, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR guys!

Short Getaway to Taiping

HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS!!!

I know, I know, another long abandoned blog since the last entry, yadda yadda yadda, busy working yadda yadda yadda, no time for a lot of yadda yadda, and I'm constantly being #tired. Not gonna continue yadda-ing around so let's proceed with this blog entry shall we :P

End of October 2014, I went to Korea with my bunch of high school buddies. By right, I should be blogging about the trip, but due to insufficient time (I have not even select any photographs from the pile yet) and my hard disk is currently with my friend, so posting about it is kinda not possible.

Last Sunday (1 Feb 2015) I went to a small town called Taiping (which means "everlasting peace" in Chinese) in the northern state of Perak in Malaysia. Reason? To visit my beloved brother. Well, not biologically related but when you have this one friend that you're well connected with, you tend to call them your "brother" or "sister" of different parents, right?

This is my first time going to Taiping, and this is also my first time taking a bus from Pudu Sentral all by myself. The other time I took a bus to another state was with a friend to Penang and we departed from One Utama bus station via Aeroline. Anyway, I experienced so many first time through this trip, one of the significant moment was when the bus I took (apparently the most trusted coach company) decided to take a stop at the road side while going uphill exiting Ipoh.

Luckily a back-up bus came for the rescue, in the end, we were only about an hour late from schedule.

Our first stop - The Matang Mangrove Forest Reserve which is located at Kuala Sepetang. It was quite a journey even though the friend claims that we completed the walk within 30 minuets, but throughout the journey I kept thinking about horror nonesense like how a group of people walking through the mangrove forest and one by one being killed by some murderous devilish creatures. LOL.

We then moved on to the fishing village. Since it was mid afternoon when we arrived the village, all the villagers were chilling and resting at home while doing their daily chores. What impressed me the most wasn't the fishing village nor the carefree villagers, but when I look up the sky, I saw eagles soaring/gliding in the sky. Many of them!!! It was so awesome!!!

The least expected place always brings you the best surprise. I never consider to visit the charcoal Factory because to me, they are just some light, black residue, consisting of carbon and any remaining ash - what is there to see? But like I said earlier, it was full of awesome insights and stories.

Perhaps it was the uncle's (who told us about the stories and processes of charcoal making) way of presentation that sparks my interest, or it was the aunty's (another group of visitor) reaction to the story made everything seems so funny and lively. Anyway, every single process in a charcoal factory is manually done by human power. Charcoal production is a long process and involved lots of man power.

This time I didn't manage to visit the zoo nor the Lake Garden (only drove pass at night), but I will definitely try to make it the next time! I had a pleasant stay at my friend's place and his parents we very accommodative! I guess besides Kuching, Taiping's gonna be my next favourite town in Malaysia. Looking forward to my next trip :)

Singapore Trip

The iconic Merlion @ Merlion Park adjacent to One Fullerton
Have I been to Singapore? YES!

Like finally after so many years. I've been wanting to visit the neighbouring country for such a long time, merely because I watch Singaporean production when I was younger, and heard a lot about the country through my friends.

The only reason why I didn't get to go would be the currency. Their currency rate is about RM2.58 = SGD1, which is slightly not affordable for us. This is also why my family never thought of bringing us over.

Maxwell Food Centre @ the heart of China Town
(Located at Kadayanallur Street Road in the Raffles Place District)
Due to the lack of sleep the night before in order to catch the morning flight, we decided to change the original plan of visiting the Gardens of the Bay to visiting Clarke Quay. Dinner was settled in Maxwell Food Centre, which is one of my go-to destination. My tour guide (who has been in Singapore for more than 7 times) went to queue for the famous Chicken Rice and waited for almost 30 minutes for a plate of chicken rice.

To be honest, I cannot tell if this is the famous stall, but there is this saying amongst the friends, "whenever you see a queue, follow and you will never go wrong". But in my opinion, the plate of chicken rice to me was just normal, not sure about Ivan (my personal tour guide).

Clarke Quay is quite a nice place, it somehow reminds me of Darling Harbour in Sydney. Stroll along the riverside you can see a lot of restaurants and drinking place. There are a lot of people especially couples who sits around the riverside and talk whole night.

I wouldn't mind drinking at one of the pubs if I am earning their currency, the environment and ambience is just awesome. Just choose a perfect corner, order a drink and begin to people watch, quite cool don't you think? Maybe one day :)

Sun Setting @ Gardens by the Bay / Marina Bay Sands
Second day was mainly travelling around the city. To keep the entry short, in the morning for brunch we went to Ikkousha Hakata Ramen restaurant for their awesome Ramen located at Tanjong Pagar. After meal, we headed for coffee at The Plain somewhere nearby. Headed to Bugis Street (another to-go destination), explored China Town, coffee again and finally to the Gardens by the Bay.

It did quite a lot of walking, but I still feel fat anyhow from all the food, desserts and coffees I had throughout the trip. Had my camera with me the whole day, beside taking photographs of the scenery, I too shot some random shots of people around, either walking around, or taking selfie/ussie.

One of my best shot would be the one shown below, the panoramic view of the city from the Marina Bay. It was a compilation of 3 shots with the help of Photoshop. Don't know what you think about this but personally I find it awesome!

Panoramic view of the city via Marina Bay
Third day was kinda normal, places covered are mainly the other malls you normally hear from your peers i.e. Suntec City Mall, Vivo City and eventually we went to the Universal Studio Singapore because Ivan wants to trade his Hard Rock Lapel Pins.

It was a long queue if we were to take the train back to Vivo City from the USS, so we decided to walk back. It's quite a long distance to walk bank, but it's good to walk no? Plus, I managed to get another sun set shot, with the view of the cable car. Looks kinda nice as well ;) (self praising)

But seriously, don't you think that the view is awesome?
Final day was spent well in the Orchard Road, however it begin raining heavily at around lunch time and I felt kind of grateful that it did not rain for the past few days when I was travelling around. I would say this is good despite the blazing hot sun and I feel very happy about it.

Overall trip is fine, but it can be better. To be honest, I never plan to visit this country again because of the currency, it simply doesn't worth it. But let's see how, we cannot foresee the future right? Who knows what will happen soon.

Phone Screen Wallpaper

Lately I've been travelling around, took some good shots via my phone, edited it and thought it suits as my phone wallpaper. The third photo (on the right) is my current wallpaper.

This is random. Just thought of sharing and showing off, while keeping the blog updated :)

Trust Issue

Table top décor which was shot in one random hotel in KL

And I was away for 2 months again =.= (as expected right? meh!)

Anyways, was kinda frustrated with people making use of one and another for personal selfish purpose.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mean that I've never done it before. Well, no one is perfect, but when you know that this person is obviously - and I highlight "obviously" - making use of your trust, that action tends to make me feel nausea.

I know what you want, and if you want to sweet talk your way there, just go ahead. I'm gonna act as thou I've fallen into your sweet trap, and secretly plot my agenda, wait for the perfect timing and deliver you the deadly hit!

Just kidding, I'm not that bad alright? XD
Okay, gonna hit the sack now. Good night!

Trip to Cambodia

Angkor Wat @ Cambodia

I finally get to visit Cambodia last month! It was actually an invitation by a friend as he won a pair of air ticket to Phnom Penh, if it's not because of him, I don't think I will make any planning to visit this heritage spot any time soon. Lucky me for his wining, I get to explore one of the many to-go attractions spots in my list.

You're right! Angkor Wat is located in Siem Reap, so for us to get to Angkor Wat, we need to travel from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap first.

This was a 4 days 3 nights trip, for us to travel from PP to SR we can choose 3 different method to travel - by flight, by ferry or by bus. Optimally, by flight would be the best as it saves time and probably the safest way to travel, however it's also the most expensive option as it cost us up to $100 (USD) per trip per pax.

We finally decided to travel by bus thinking it is going to be a 5-7 hours trip which may be still bearable, and that's when our second nightmare began.

Our nightmares:
  1. Got introduced by the local to take their local bus to SR. Thinking of experiencing something local, we didn't mind trying our luck. It cost us $26 for a one-way trip for the 2 of us, which we eventually feels it doesn't really worth it.
  2. Mr Google told us that it only take us 5-7hours to reach SR from PP but it took us up to 9 hours to arrive. Imagine sitting in a squeezy and confined area, going through bumpy ride without dinner, only arrived SR at about 9pm. The horror!
First night ended with roadside stall, never realized a bowl of normal beehoon soup can taste so good!

First day was wasted in the bus, but it was indeed fun catching up with my friend (aside from sleeping during the ride to SR). Early morning on the second day about 5-ish we were already standing in front of Angkor Wat, planning to catch the sunrise. Unfortunately, dawn broke over the temple upon our arrival, and it was quite cloudy then, hence we did not see the sun.

Angkor Archaeological Park covers quite a huge area, and you simply cannot walk from one temple to the other if you're planning to stay there for a day. For us, we've had engaged a tuk-tuk driver for a day which cost us about $20.

I'm not going into details on the temples that we've visited, you ought to visit all the temples and you will discover all its similarities and differences. To me, I found a lot of similarities from one and another - without know its actual story behind the structure. So if you want to know the history about each and every temple (i.e. which temple was built first, the reason of building the second temple, etc.) it's best to engage a local tour guide to do the explaining.

If you have a creative eye and is able to capture the soul of a building/structure/scenery/people through different angle/perspective, then you may enjoy your trip here too. I admit my eyes is not that creative and I cannot see things differently, so all my shots seems quite dull.

Two thing I need to tell you:

  1. There are quite a fair bit of locals who will approach you in the temple, encouraging you to pray to the Buddha statue nearby for good luck, for your friends and family, and they will pass you joss sticks during the process. In return, you need to pay for it, and they will tell you it's meant for the monks. DO NOT trust them, unless you're feeling generous. Otherwise just avoid eye contact with them.
  2. Young children/local adult will come surrounding you in group or "attack" you individually, hoping you will buy their magnet, post card, drinking water and many others. It's up to you who you wanna buy from, but please beware that once you purchase from one person, normally the others will come and try their luck. If you're good with your earlier purchase, you may reject them politely, otherwise, go through a different route to avoid them.

To be honest, I really wish I can write an awesome blog post about my trip. But I don't think I can remember much details to share everything. All I can say is that Angkor Wat is an awesome place, which I wish I can stay much longer and have someone to explain to me on the history of these temples. 1 day is definitely not enough.

Food wise is good, their amok (Cambodian soup) and their stir fried dishes are quite tasty. Safety wise, I personally think it's alright, I don't feel as scared walking in the city with my bags and valuables at night, as compare to KL. Accommodation wise, I believe there are quite a few reasonable guest houses around which you can find, I will opt to stay in a guest house in the future if I get another chance to visit SR again.

Due to the long bus ride, we didn't get to enjoy PP much. However, I will make sure I visit Cambodia again, and this time I will try to have enough time to visit all the places around.

New Layout

I wonder if any noticed I've changed my blog layout?

Personally, I prefer the latest update, it looks clean and less cluttered.

I have more space to play with, the photo size can also be as large as possible.

 What say you?

Why Hanson?

If you have my phone number and we are connected through Whatsapp, you'd have noticed that my screen name is Hanson instead of my name. Some may get confused with this, my client even called me Hanson after a few rounds receiving my text.

Now you wonder, why Hanson?

Well, there is actually a story behind this screen name, and it happened 4 years ago when I was studying in Australia. Back then I have a course mate, whom I think he is from Spain, quite good looking and tall, the typical handsome man girls like. His name is Javier.

Javier has a very friendly personality. He has lots of ideas and he is quite creative when it comes to his assignments - I know because I attended the same film production class with him then. For those who don't know the actual pronunciation might have read his name as Jar-v-yer, twice by now. But nope, you're wrong. You know how Spanish people pronounce J with a H sound? So the proper pronunciation should be Har-v-yer (don't even know if I'm 'spelling' it right right now).

Anyway, back to Javier. So one day, my friend whom is a total stranger to Javier happened to sit next to him when we were on our bus ride to town. I don't even know what or how exactly it happen, they began talking to each and other and introduced themselves. So she finally got to know him and was so impressed by him. I wonder how much she knows about him in within a 20 minute bus ride but she was just mad and almost gone crazy for him.

So she was telling us about him - his name, where he's from and the correct way to pronounce his name... and from that day on wards, she has decided to call me Jason - not the normal pronunciation Jay-son, but Hay-son.

I thought it was quite interesting and thought of using it as my screen name for Whatsapp, but Hayson/Heyson looks very weird so decided to use something more general and I thought of the name Hanson. So from that day onwards, I renamed my Whatsapp as Hanson and never change ever since.

Yeap. This is the end of the story. So now, if you like to call me Hanson, I will also react to it. I have too many names for different social media anyway. Just a way to satisfied my 'multiple personality disorder' craves perhaps.

I wonder?

I somehow logged into my blog account and the urge of blogging suddenly came back for a while. Yes, for a good 30 second. Seriously, I wonder who still blogs these days? But in actual fact, there are still people who are passionate about blogging - they usually blog about their daily life, or do some products comparison or events attended? Whatever.

I wonder if my hands full of reader are still passionate about reading blogs, or at least still interested to read mine? Since the last post was posted about 2 years ago, I doubt anyone will bother coming back right?

Whatever. I might continue blogging, or maybe not, it depends. I still dont know what I can blog about, perhaps my life or complaints about my daily work and shits? Let's see what inspires me next.

Okay, time to sleep. Good night!

Thinking of the Past

Glenelg Beach, Adelaide

Sometime when I view the photos taken in Australia via FB or from my external hard disk, I cannot help but to think how happy I was when I was over there alone, staying with my friends, away from my family.

No, please don't get me wrong. It's not like I hate my family or whatnot. I love them, and in fact I don't mind staying with them. However, thing's different when you are overseas studying and back home working. Like duh!

I might be wrong, I may be right. Who knows if I work in Australia I get to find a nine-to-six job and able to settle down with just a simple yet satisfying life? I get to pursue with the things I like to do and even make it a part time job maybe?

Life could be different compare to what I'm going through now.

Or maybe not? I might suffer from depression due to the vary in culture or because of financial issue or even cause by relationship issue with whoever? Life if full with unexpected possibilities and there is no right or wrong for what I've selected.

Well, guess I should be grateful for having what I have now. At least till today I'm still okay with my life and work and appreciating all the people I'm working with.

Photograph above was taken in Glenelg Beach in Adelaide. I still remember I was supposed to do an assignment related to sound/audio capturing. Got all my friends to tag along and had a wonderful time there. It was so nice as thought it just happened yesterday. Time flies so fast, it has been almost two years by now.

Wong Fu Productions @ Taylor's University

Wesley Chan & Philip Wang from Wong Fu Productions

On Saturday I was given the chance to meet 2 special people, who actually did somehow inspire me to my passion and they are no other than the Wong Fu Productions! I was lucky that my boss offered me a free ticket to the event and I got to sit on the second roll with the media and get to go up front to take photographs as near as possible.

You might wonder why is Ted not in the photograph. Well, this is because he was caught up with something back home, hence he did not fly over to Malaysia with Wesley and Philip. Nevertheless, Ted had created a video presentation to show us his "existence" in Malaysia.

There were 3 different Wong Fu sessions thoughout the day and I've only attended the last "Wong Fu 4 LYFE" session at 7pm where they tell us all about themselves like a casual chat/talk show and a Q&A session open to the floor at the end.

What I was jealous most that night was this guy who got to submit his application to be an intern over in LA this summer! I've always been dreaming to be in position (if he ever gets in) and guess this is not gonna happen to me. It will remain as a dream.

One thing I remember Phil said that night was, we must put your ego aside and must not act as though you know everything. Indeed, compromising is important when you are in a team and with this attitude will make the team stronger! (That's what I think-lah)

Well, that's all for now, please visit The Cube Productions for more photographs of the event and last but not least, THANK YOU BOSS!! =D

Comparing past and present

Photograph was taken @ Bagan Lalang, Sepang

I must make sure I'm doing this at least once a week. Let's do it!

Yesterday, I went to Bagan Lalang with some of my friends for a one day trip and guess what, I'm all burnt up and feeling the pain on every inch of my body. From my face to my neck, my shoulder and to the arm, shouldn't have act hero to just wear a sleeveless shirt. I thought Malaysia is the same as Adelaide, now I know I thought wrong.

The last time I went out and expose myself under the sun was a year ago when I was still in Adelaide. That day was my 22 birthday and decided to celebrate alone by taking photographs of the city. It was really fun and memorable and I didn't get any sunburn!!

Time flies. And I'm still missing those days.

Happy Chinese New Year - The year of Water Dragon!

Photographs taken at the Mausoleum of the former King Tu Duc @ Hoi An, Vietnam

Today, is the first day of Chinese New Year. And this, is my first blog entry for the year 2012. Initially, I was thinking to start blogging sometime around early January, then it got delayed and was thinking to blog on my birthday, which happens to be a Wednesday hence it got delayed again. Since today is also consider a new year (to the Chinese), I would like to take this opportunity to start my first post and hopefully will continue doing so consistently.

A quick update of what happened during the past 22 days of 2012:

21 December 2011 - 1 January 2012
I ended my 2011 by stuffing food into my stomach non-stop until past midnight. Was at KL for a dim sum session with the Fab5 then countdown with TheCubes at Snowy's place.

4 - 8 January 2012
Went for a short trip to Da Nang, Vietnam with the family and their friends. Was with all the aunties and uncles for a few good days. This is also my first time in Vietnam and I've decided to visit there again if there's an opportunity!

16 January 2012
First day of work at Taylor's University, located at the lakeside campus. Switching from an Account Executive to Marketing Executive is definitely challenging, different things overall and need to pick up everything real quick. Learn Jason, learn!

18 January 2012
My birthday. Initially planned to have an "underground" day, try to get as "low profile" as possible, even hid my birthday notification on Facebook and decided to sleep early on the night before. But heck! The Fab5 dropped by at 12am, giving me a surprise and shock of my life with a cake.
The company dinner falls on the same day too, but being as discreet as a mole rat underground, no one realize about this. Which is not really an issue to me, as I have TheCubes who met up and celebrated with me again after that.
Really happy though it's a small scale celebration, and am grateful to all the messages sent over to me even after my birthday when they find out about it. Thank you guys once again!

23 January 2012
So it's today! The first day of Chinese New Year. Gong Xi Fa Cai I'm wishing to all my fellow readers (I wonder how many readers I have left?), friends and family! May the year of Water Dragon brings you luck, prosperous and fortune! As considered part of the Earth Dragon member, I wish all the best to the people around me, and hopefully I'll have a better ahead too. See you guys during the next entry then!

Motivational Talk

Guess I've failed to keep my blog updated as stated on my previous entry. Instead of searching for another lame excuses (bust with work for instance), maybe I should just update something here right?

I got myself a book recently during the book fest - 100 Ways to Motivate Yourself - and I want to make sure I remember some of the things I read. Take it as a short revision for myself. I don't know how long I can maintain this but let's just hope I'll have the determination to finish off the whole book and have something here too.

I've always been an emotional boy and always thing side ways whereby I relate almost everything to the negative reason. This is not really good and it does more or less effect the way people think about me. Guess they are getting bored cheering me up and I figure I should at least do something to help myself. If I don't have the determination to help myself, who else can help me?

Let me begin by sharing the first 10 chapters I've read today:

1. Get on your deathbed
To simplify what I've read, it basically tells that you need to appreciate your life and not waste a single second of it. Fully spend your life as though today's your last day and be motivated to work on everything you've planned on. Quoting from the little book as stated by the author: "People living deeply have no fear of death".

2. Stay hungry
Everyone should have a vision for himself. A vision of what he will be in the future and start acting towards it. It's better than you have no vision at all and it can always changed at the later stage of life. It's never late to create the vision.

3. Tell yourself a true lie
Apparently most of us cannot image who we could be in the future, we can then try to fantasize about something/someone we wanted to turn into in the future. Our mind will then subconsciously begin creating the necessary blueprint, and we will act towards it. "Without the picture of your highest self, you can live into that self. Fake it till you make it. The lie will become the truth."

4. Keep your eyes on the prize
We tend to focus the wrong thing when we are trying to achieve our goal. If we worry about the negative possibilities whenever we are working on something, we will never get to it. Most of the time we are distracted by our fears and worries, but when you focus on what you want, it will come into your life. "When you focus to be a happy and motivated person, that is who you will be."

5. Learn to sweat in peace
The harder you push yourself, the easier you will find the later in your life. Challenge yourself, fight through your fear, push yourself through and you will find it easier to handle the issue later. "If you've something hard to do and you are hesitant to do it, pick up something harder to do that first."

6. Simplify your life
By simplifying you life, you tend to see things clearer and you know what you want at the end of the day. It would be much easier for you to do things. "It's hard to be aggressive when you are confuse", try not to drag your time to finish a task, get it done as soon. "It's hard to stay motivated when you are confuse. When you simplify your life, it gathers focus. The more you can focus, the more motivated it gets."

7. Look for the lost gold
Who we are is what we see. If you are happy you see things happily; if you are depress you feel people around you are sad. You have the choice to decide what you're getting/seeing. Your chances will multiply if you see it coming.

8. Push all your own button
Learn from everything you can. Whoever inspires you - people, music, movie - note it down on a note book. Read the book a few months later and try to get back the same inspiration from them and try to motivate yourself by that. Learn how to bring yourself up, motive yourself. You can decide who you want to be, by focusing all positive energy towards you, you will learn to be a focus and motivated person.

9. Build a track record
Have a note book to track all your progresses, your work. Make sure you get it done and with that, you will know that you can finish everything you start. You will be more confident with proves stated on your notebook. You will be a person with better confident.

10. Welcome the unexpected
Never relate creative to "original" as no one is "original". Instead, you should be unexpected. "If you are willing to see yourself as creative, you can begin to cultivate it in everything you do. You can start coming up with all kinds of unexpected solutions to the challenges that life throws you."

I believe there are grammatical errors above. But it's okay, the most important thing is, as long as I understand what I am expressing now. But do correct me if you find any mistakes, it's all about learning, no?

WooHoo Picture

The last blog entry was about 4 months ago and I've been absent for quite some time. I admit, I was busy doing my stuffs, having my own sweet honeymoon time and I guess it's time to start blogging again? (since I start working already)

Yes. I'm now on contract with WooHoo Picture Sdn Bhd as an Production Assistant. The contract just valid for a month so I will be jobless later in June. Gonna need to start looking for job opening as soon as possible.

The photo above is 2 of the movies created by the company. Since I cannot find any logo of the company, I thought might as well I create one myself. By combining 2 different movie posters, I've created this. It's just a normal simple one though, didn't spend too much time on it.

Anyway, I'm back peeps and hope that I'll be constant in blogging again. Cheers!

The day I turn 22

Well, obviously it's not today. It was 3 days ago on the 18th. So what I initially planned to do was to have a simple birthday, celebrate all by myself. I did not ask anyone out or ask for dinner, to me I thought I can have some quite time by myself, to be myself.

Who know the night before my birthday, my friends came over to my place and gave me a surprise visit. They've got my house mate to keep me a secret and make sure I'm home. And when they knock on the door, my house mate even asked me to go open the door. It was a planned surprise, and I am happy they did that for me. Thanks guys.

However, the next day, on my birthday, I still gone out alone as I've planned. First stop, was to the Botanic Garden.

Why Botanic Garden you might ask. Well, I was surfing the net the other day and I found a blog entry about the Botanic Garden. From it, I realized that I have not been to some of the spots in the garden even though I've already visited it for a few times (well it's a rather big area so it's not surprise that I've missed out a few area).

I was right. The photographs above, is one of the miss-out spots - the rose garden. There are quite a few more places, and some look really sophisticated!

Off for lunch at Myer basement @ Shogun.

After lunch, I walked all the way to the Elder Park. I've been to this park for a few different occasion, for Million Paws Walk charity event, while volunteering for Moon Lantern Festival and during my friend's graduation ceremony, all happened last year but I never been to the opposite site of the park.

Also, I've seen photographs taken opposite the park and it sort of gave me idea to do some photo shoot at the same place. Hence there I went, and photograph above is one of the photographs taken opposite the park, showcasing the park and some buildings behind, across the river.

It was still quite early to move on to my next destination, so I decided to take a chill under the tree, looking through the beautiful landscape and wait for the suitable time to leave.

As I reached Glenelg Beach, it was still so sunny. I've decided to walk along the beach, towards the housing area on the left. There were quite a number of people playing on the beach, some are doing exercise along the road and these are the life I would like to go for.

How wish I can stay longer in Adelaide. How wish I can come here one year earlier and get to experience a different kind of experience. Who knows, maybe I can get a good job and also a PR too? But it's all a dream now, a dream that I wish it will happen, one day.

Glenelg was so hot that day, and the sun was still up high even at 8pm. Plus, my camera's battery and memory space gone low, hence I've to call it a day. Initially thought of taking the sun set scene, but guess I'll have to go again another time.

It's overall a wonderful time I've spent with myself that day, and I totally enjoy it! It worths a lot to see the results you got from your camera and computer.
